Holy Levi! Can I just say i love that boy! He is so dam funny and lovable and yes he does make mistakes. Yes readers be for warned Levi is not perfect. Almost but not totally perfect and in Focus he is paying the price for something he did to Allie.
Allie is excited to be starting her freshmen year of college. She will be there with her best friend Hailey and they can't wait to start classes. Allie knows college is going to be hard but she never thought she would have the extra stress of Levi. Levi made a mistake and he wants to correct it but Allie wants to just leave it alone. Her heart wants Levi but she is so dam stubborn she is determined to make him sweat things out. That is okay for a little while but Levi is so determined to right his wrong and the girl back he loves. He will work hard but in the end it will be worth it.
Hailey can't get Levi out of her head and her heart. It is driving her crazy but she lord help her she wants him back. She misses him and school is hard enough so she wants to release the added stress from her life. I mean Levi is the future King and she is the future Queen. As we learn more about the Paranormal society in Focus I was really struck by how Alyssa can weave a story. We learn so much and the ending had a little bit of a twist that it had me saying on no I need book three like yesterday but I can patiently wait because something good has to happen, right? Who knows but we will find out when we read book three.
I will say this Allie better get it together because to lose Levi would be a travesty for her!

5 of 5 Flight
I did a cover reveal for Flight and when I read the blurb I knew I had to read it. Lord was I not disappointed! Flight takes place in New Orleans and if any of you know New Orleans is beautiful. Hurricane Katrina tore it apart but the folks put it back together and most of the historic district was saved. While reading flight I kept picturing certain places in my mind and I am so glad I had those extra visuals because this book had me hooked from the very beginning.
Allie has sworn off all guys for the summer. She is determined to work at her fathers hotel with her best friend Jess and enjoy the summer and what it has to offer. Only when they get to the hotel Allie sees this gorgeous guy and his friend. Jess wants to talk to the friend and the guys invite them out for drinks. Allie is very cautious about Levi and takes the time to get to know him. So when Jess decides she is going home earlier than Allie Allie decides to stay.
Allie and Levi get closer and Levi shares his secret with her. Once Allie knows what he is she decides to stay by him. Only Allie doesn't know the whole truth and in the end once it is revealed Allie will have to make a decision that will change her life forever. What will she do? Will she stay with Levi? Will she go home? Come along on a fantastic ride and meet some great characters and enjoy the New Orleans scenary while learning some serious secrets.
