Synopsis:
ONE CHOICE.
TWO REALMS.
NO SECOND CHANCE.
Tenley “Ten” Lockwood is an average seventeen-year-old girl…who has spent the past thirteen months locked inside the Prynne Asylum. The reason? Not her obsession with numbers, but her refusal to let her parents choose where she’ll live—after she dies.
There is an eternal truth most of the world has come to accept: Firstlife is merely a dress rehearsal, and real life begins after death.
In the Everlife, two realms are in power: Troika and Myriad, longtime enemies and deadly rivals. Both will do anything to recruit Ten, including sending their top Laborers to lure her to their side. Soon, Ten finds herself on the run, caught in a wild tug-of-war between the two realms who will do anything to win the right to her soul. Who can she trust? And what if the realm she’s drawn to isn’t home to the boy she’s falling for? She just has to stay alive long enough to make a decision…

Review:
Okay so where to begin with this review..... man this book had me so immersed into it that I took it everywhere I went. I was in the grocery market reading at the stop light reading and waiting for the kids to get out of school sitting in the car reading. I just could not get enough of this book.
The story starts out with Tenley aka Ten in an asylum. Her parents placed her there because she does not want to follow the normal rules of life. See Ten lives in the firstlife and she has to chose where she is going to go in her everlife. She has to chose between becoming a Troika or a Myriad. They both want her really bad for their own reasons and Ten is determined to do what she wants and not what her parents want.
As she is on the run she learns things about both realms that want her. Some things she likes and other things she does not like. She is not sure who to trust and it doesn't help that she is being thrown in different directions. What realm will she chose and will it be the right one......
