BOOK DESCRIPTION:
A proper young lady should never attend a Masque...Aphrodite is no lady.

Betrothal to the callous Lord Blackhall painted a future devoid of love. Upon his death, Lady Caroline Wilmont is promised to the younger brother. Caroline refuses to allow her first taste of desire to be at the hands of a man who would rather have any woman but her. This, her last night of freedom, is to be a memory of lust that she can take with her throughout her loveless marriage. As Aphrodite, Caroline attends a masque determined to find a man to initiate her into the intimacies of erotic love.

Taran Robertson, Viscount of Blackhall, makes no secret that he despises his obligation to marry the Sassenach heiress chosen for him by his father. As a last foray before his wedding, he attends a masque. However, the spirited vixen he meets and seduces has secrets...secrets that just may reveal he’s to have an improper wife.

MY REVIEW
5 OF 5 MASQUES
*** THIS IS AN ADULT BOOK DUE TO IT'S SEXUAL NATURE AND THIS REVIEW IS INTENDED FOR 18 YEARS AND OLDER**

First I would like to Thank FMB Blog Tours for allowing me to be on this great Tour. I have to say I love this time period. People in this period did not marry for love but for status and convenience. An Improper Wife is one of those reads where you sit back and take a look at a two people who are being forced to marry and they don't know each other but the laws of that time state if a man dies and he has male siblings the oldest one is to marry his wife and raise the family as his own.

When Lady Caroline's husband dies she realizes that she will have to marry his brother. She is not happy about that because she does not want to enter into a loveless marriage and she knows that this is what it is going to be. So the night before her wedding she goes to a Masque dressed as Aphrodite the Goddess of love. At the Masque she is soon bored with being there because she is looking for one man to have a night of passion with and when she does not find him in the Masque she leaves. While walking in the garden she meets a man and her night of passion explodes.

Taran is being forced to marry someone he does not know. He is to wed this woman and he has no say in the matter. So before he is to wed he goes to the Masque looking to have some fun but he gets more than he bargains for. He finds this woman and together they have the night of their lives. And at the end of the night Taran is a changed man.

What will Caroline do? What will Taran do? Will they marry the person they supposed to? Will they have a loveless marriage? Can they find the right person for them? Come along for sex driven ride and enjoy all the passionate scenes Lady Caroline and Lord Taran have. I promise you you will not be disappointed!

I'd love to know more about your process for teaming together as authors. Fascinating!

Hi Rebecca
I'm sure every collaboration is different but for us, we constantly pass the manuscript back and forth, adding to the story, tweaking each other's words and making "story voice" unique to us. Our styles blend, but I do write differently on my own and so does Tarah. Together something happens that we both really love and have been happy to discover readers are loving it too.

I've been on an erotica kick lately but I've yet to check out any historicals. I just might do that after reading your review.

Thanks for the insight!
