He is Amish. I am not. Will love be enough?
Belonging
Book 2 in the Temptation Series
Book Description:
I left everything I knew behind.
But it was worth it. He was worth it.
No one thought an ordinary girl like me would last two minutes living with the Amish, not even me. There are a lot more rules and a lot less freedom, and I miss my family and the life I once had. Worst of all, Noah and I aren’t even allowed to see each other. Not until I’ve proven myself.
If I can find a way to make it work, we’ll be NOAH & ROSE together forever.
But not everybody believes this is where I belong

My Review
5 of 5 Belonging
Belonging starts off where Temptation finished. I have to say what an ending it was. Rose has left everything behind in the ordinary world to be with Noah. She can't imagine a day without him and she is willing to sacrifice any and everything to be with him and she has. She has decided to become Amish. She knows making this sacrifice is worth it to be with Noah. But her family thinks she she is not cut out to be an ordinary girl so she will have to prove to them that she loves Noah and she is willing to do what ever it takes to make it right.
When Rose is brought over to her foster family to begin learning the ways of the Amish she is surprised to realize that things are going to be a lot different than what she thought. For starters she is brought to her foster family first so the Bishop and Elders can talk to her and explain how her life is going to be. She soon realizes that the Bishop does not like her and he wants her to fail so she will leave the community. But Rose is determined to prove to everyone she can do this and show them just how much she loves Noah.
Rose is soon in the rhythm of things buy working from the crack of dawn till the early evening. Then she has to attend church services and after that she goes back to her foster family. See the church is keeping Noah and Rose apart until Rose can prove herself. She is missing him and her family but she longs to be with Noah and keeps trying. Rose is soon making Amish friends with Suzanna, Miranda, and Summer to occupy her free time and the girls become best friends doing things together. But Rose soon finds out that there other forces keeping her from Noah and those forces are in the form of two Amish people Ella and Levi. They are determined to keep Noah and Rose apart. Will she be able to have her happily ever after? Or will she and Noah be apart forever? I need book three like yesterday!
Temptation
Book 1 in the Temptation series
Book Description:
Your heart misleads you.
That’s what my friends and family say.
But I love Noah.
And he loves me.
We met and fell in love in the sleepy farming community of Meadowview, while we rode our horses together through the grassy fields and in those moments in each other’s arms.
It should be
ROSE & NOAH
forever, easy.
But it won’t be.
Because he’s Amish.
And I’m not.

About Karen Ann Hopkins
A native of New York State, Karen Ann Hopkins now lives with her family on a farm in northern Kentucky, where her neighbors in all directions are members of a strict Amish community. Her unique perspective became the inspiration for the story of star-crossed lovers Rose and Noah. When she’s not homeschooling her kids, giving riding lessons or tending to a menagerie of horses, goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs and cats, she is dreaming up her next romantic novel.
