Xpresso Presents Say When By Tara West Blog Tour Stop

Say When by Tara West
(Something More #1)
Publication date: July 19th 2013
Genres: New Adult, Romance

Synopsis:

He told me to say when, but I can’t. Not with Andrés. It’s so hard to say anything when he’s trailing feather soft kisses down my neck, or when his touch sends hot currents of lust rippling across my skin.

Then there’s the way he smiles and offers soft words of encouragement when I’m creating art, almost like he believes I have talent.

He’s not like any guy I’ve ever met. Not like my ex-fiancée. Not like my father. He’s got me thinking that maybe we can have something more. More than just lust, degradation, and abuse.

And now I’m scared, because that means I’ll have to trust him with more than just my body, but with my heart, too.

My Review

5 of 5 Say When

Okay so Say When had me in one of my crazy reader modes because it started off with a bang and ended with a bang. I love stories where the hero and the heroine fall in love instantly because they feel that spark that was not there but is now there. But what I did love about this story was that two broken people found a way to be together and I love me some stories like that.

Christina does everything she is told. She is the good daughter who does as she is told and never ever rocks the boat. So when her ahole of a mother tells her she is to marry the spoiled and rich Jack Christina agrees. She is not happy though in this relationship and she has had it by her 21st birthday. So she decides she is going to go against the grain and she breaks it off with Jack and decides to party with her best friend but then things never go the way they should.

Her best friends car breaks down and a hot as hades guy Andres stops his car to help the girls out. This is the beginning of something new for Christina and Andres. Andres and Christina share a steamy night that turns into more for them. Andres and Christina will have to learn to let go of the past and move on to the future.

Can they do it or will others destroy it before it has started?

This book is a must read. The story of two broken hearts coming together is captivating. I found it very difficult to put this book down when I was needed elsewhere. I ended up staying up half the night to finish it with no regrets of having an early morning with little sleep.
