Graffiti Moon By Cath Crowley Book Review

Graffiti Moon
Senior year is over, and Lucy has the perfect way to celebrate: tonight, she's going to find Shadow, the mysterious graffiti artist whose work appears all over the city. He's out there somewhere—spraying color, spraying birds and blue sky on the night—and Lucy knows a guy who paints like Shadow is someone she could fall for. Really fall for. Instead, Lucy's stuck at a party with Ed, the guy she's managed to avoid since the most awkward date of her life. But when Ed tells her he knows where to find Shadow, they're suddenly on an all-night search around the city. And what Lucy can't see is the one thing that's right before her eyes.

My Review 10 moons

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS BOOK! Graffiti Moon had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. This story is about love and trust and friendship. A HUGE THANK YOU to NetGalley for allowing me to read this book before it re-releases on Valentine's Day.

Lucy has just graduated from high school and she excited to be done with school. She has a whole summer ahead of her to work and save up for college. On this last day of school she and her best friends decide to spend a night out having fun before the real work starts. They all meet up at a cafe and are talking about the last day of school and what the summer holds for them when in walks Dylan, Ed, and Leo. Jazz sees Leo and she says OMG I have to meet him. So she goes over to the boys and invites them over to the table. Daisy and Lucy are mad because Daisy is dating Dylan and Lucy went on a date with Ed that did not end so well. But as girls are they stick with Jazz and sit uncomfortable at the table while they make plans.

Lucy is not to thrilled because she wants to go out and find Shadow who is a graffiti artist who draws pictures all over town and she is in love with his art. She would like to meet him just to talk to him and see him draw some stuff on the wall. The only thing is is that no one knows who Shadow is, that is until Ed says he knows who Shadow is. He and Lucy take off in search of Shadow and what Lucy finds is that she still has feelings for Ed and can totally see herself as his girl. As the night goes on Ed is showing Lucy all the drawings that are done by Shadow. But Ed is keeping a secret from Lucy and he really wants to tell her but he is not sure what she will say or do because the last time they had a date he did something to make her mad and she broke his nose.

As the story goes on you see things unfold and see how each girl has their own epic and life altering moment. Lucy and Jazz and Daisy will find themselves as well as love and renewed friendship. This is a kind of story that has you on the edge of your seat because you are rooting for one thing and when that happens something else shows up unexpected and all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place. Ed will learn how to have faith in himself and others and Leo will find love and Dylan will learn how to love without feeling ashamed.
