Reaction: Reflection #2

Release Date: November 6, 2012
Book Description: (Spoilers if you haven't read Reflection!)
Harmony…
I’ve previously had that in my life, but only once, briefly, a while ago. It was during the time I’d started my first year of college. My own apartment, a new old car, and a life free of deadbeat stepfathers, all of which was fulfilling enough. But if it wasn’t, I also had a best friend, soul mate, and boyfriend all in one. Yes, life was near perfect.
But one stormy night can change everything…
For many months I rested in a prolonged sleep, fighting for my life. Well, more than fighting for it, also dreaming of it. Dreaming of him. Thank goodness, the dream is over and I’m back in the real world now. And all I want is for everything to return to the way it was. But nothing’s the same; most of all, us.
Once again, I find myself at the crossroads of a ruthless battle, this time not for life, but love. Do I fight for the guy I twice fell for, or do I let her take him away?
MY REVIEW
5 OF 5 REACTIONS
What to say about Reaction..... Well it is totally EPIC! I have never ever read a love story that has torn me up. I laughed and I cried and I screamed at the book because there was so much raw emotions in it. The author has done a great job ending this series and I have to say at times I did not think there was going to be a happily ever after. For most books I don't care either way but this book pulled on my heart and I wanted no I needed Heather and Nick to be together. They had suffered through so much in Reflection that I was rooting for them all the way.
Heather has woken up from her coma and she is ready to start her life where she left it off. All she remembers is she was a freshmen in college had her first apartment and a car and her boyfriend Nick was the greatest guy known to man. Well three years later when she wakes from the coma she realizes that Nick has moved on and is now engaged to a girl and getting married soon. The only people she has left are Liz and Creed. The three of them were always together like the three musketeers. So much so that Creed took care of Heather for the three years she was in a coma. He stood by her side and never left her.
So when Heather is told that Nick has moved on she wants to see it for herself. When she does she gets sad and Creed and Liz are there for her and help her comes to terms with what has happened. When Heather talks to Nick she knows that she still loves him and no one will ever take his place. She wants to be with him so bad it hurts but she realizes that Creed is right she needs to move on. She tries but the heart wants what it wants and Heather is not going to give up on Nick without a fight.
What happens is in incredible story. I swear Jessica Roberts has a way of telling the story that my heart broke each time I read something sad and every time Heather told herself to stop loving Nick because he had moved on I cried like a crazy women. This is a must read series about true love and how love does heal all wounds.
