Some secrets should never be revealed…
Brylee Branson begrudgingly made the excruciating move with her family from the warm sandy beaches of California to small town living in New Jersey. As if she wasn’t miserable enough, they’ve moved into a creepy old house that everyone in the area claims is haunted. Brylee dismisses the idea of ghosts and hauntings, until she begins to see and hear things that can’t be explained…
Brylee has no choice but to seek the help of new friends to unlock the secrets of this place she now calls home. But some secrets should never be revealed. Can the teens find a way to release the spirits imprisoned within the walls? Or will the curse claim them, too?
MY REVIEW
5 OF 5 BROWN HOUSES
The Brown House is a book you defiantly don't judge by the cover. The cover is creepy and some what eye catching but when you open the book and begin to read what is in it you are totally blown away by what happens. Brylee Branson is moving from sunny California to a small town in New Jersey. She is not really excited about moving but her family has made the decision to move and she has no choice but to follow them. Then if things are not complicated enough about the move she finds out that the house she is moving into is haunted. At first Brylee does not believe everyone and the rumors but soon she starts seeing ghosts and hearing noises she is not sure what they are.
But as Brylee makes friends at school she soon confides in her friends and together they make a plan to help the ghosts out. They are not sure what they are getting into but Brylee thinks if the spirits are released they will go away. Not sure what to do with the ghosts and the haunting in her house Brylee must make a decision and fast because not all of the ghosts are friendly and not all of them have her best interest at heart. As her friends Ephraim and Lynley come to help her they realize that everything is not what it seems like. What to do is the age old question? What will they do with ghosts? Will they realize them or leave them to keep haunting the family?
If this is not the worse thing to happen to them they have their regular school stuff to deal with. Homework and dances and boyfriends to get. What is a girl to do? What will happen to them once the dust settles and the secrets surface. Man this is such a must read that you will not be disappointed at all but wanting more. I want to read more and I can't wait to see if and when a sequel is coming out.

MY REVIEW
5 OF 5 IANNI'S
Ianni is a Novella and I have to say that it is the beginning of an EPIC series by Christy Sloat. In Ianni we meet Ianni who is a spirit guide and she is in charge of watching over Avery. She takes her job very seriously and makes sure that nothing happens to Avery. So when someone threatens Avery Ianni decides to step in and protect her at all costs.
What it costs Ianni is more than anyone could guess. Now Ianni gave up her angelic existence to save a human soul. See killing the dark guides is forbidden and she has been banished from Heaven for good. As part of her banishment she is sent to Earth to live as a human and interact amoungst them. She will have to learn to live like a human and act like a human. But as soon as Ianni is on Earth she realizes being a human is complicated. She has to let go of her past life and move on to be a human.
Can she let go of her past life? Can she become a human girl? What will she find out as a human that would make her want to stay human? This is the Novella that has so much info about the first book called The Many Lives of Avery Snow. This is a must read series for all of you who love angel stories!
Avery Snow led a boring, no thrills life. After her father left the family when she was young, Avery’s mother died when she was only twelve, leaving her all alone except for her Aunt Paulina. Now, at twenty-six, Avery is very used to being lonely.

She cannot remember what they are about. Until her Spirit Guide, Ianni, comes to help. Ianni shows Avery her past lives and tells her about the man who is stalking her soul. Now Avery remembers every life she has ever lived and she remembers the man she shared them with. He will not give up until she falls in love with him. She also must keep her safe from the Dark Guides who are after Avery.
MY REVIEW
5 OF 5 AVERY SNOW
The Many Lives of Avery Snow is a great story! I have to say after reading the Novella I understood a lot more in the story when it came to Ianni. This is the first book in the series and I have to say it started with a bang and the series is totally going to be EPIC!
In The Many Lives of Avery Snow we meet Avery who is a 26 year old woman who has suffered so much loss in her life. Her father left the family when she was young and her mother died a few years later leaving Avery to be raised by her aunt Paulina. Avery lives a very simple life that most would call boring and full of nothing but Avery has suffered so much she prefers to be alone. Avery has a job working at Sunrise Estates where her boss Kerri is her best friend and one of the patients she cares for Lucy O'Shea is her best friend. She loves seeing Lucy everyday and spending time with her. That is until one day Avery goes to check on Lucy and Lucy dies in Avery's arms. Before Lucy dies she tells Avery that a man is looking for her from her past and he will stop at nothing to have her.
That is when Avery begins to have these vivid dreams that wake her up. She hates sleeping now because she never knows what she is going to dream about. Then she meets her spirit guide Ianni. Ianni decides she is going to help Avery out because the guy looking for her is not what he seems. Ianni shows Avery her past lives and tells her about the man stalking her dreams and her soul. As Ianni is talking Avery starts to have flashbacks and remembers who she was and who she spent time with. The man she spent time with wants her and he wants her to love him and for some reason before that happens something always happens and Avery never gives her love to him. Ianni will help Avery chose between good and evil because the dark spirits are hell bent on hurting Avery.
What will Avery do? Who will she chose to give her heart to? What will happen to Ianni? Will Ianni be able to help her? This is a must read story for all those angel lovers out there!
