Fevered Souls by S.K. Falls
Series: Fevered Souls, Volume 1
Publication date: August 5th, 2013
Genre: New Adult Paranormal Romance
Synopsis:
After I left for college, I thought I’d never see Eden again. But I found myself headed back four years later, destitute and unable to find a job anywhere else. Still, I was adamant nothing would keep me there for long.
Then I met the intoxicating Dax Allard. Copper-colored eyes, skin that emanated an exceptional heat, and a host of strange talents… It wasn’t long before I was drunk on him.
But Dax’s past was darker than mine, teeming with ancient secrets. Falling for him could cost me my life.
I had two choices: walk away or deal with the perilous consequences.
It was no choice at all.
Volume I is the compilation of five episodes of the serial novel (essentially an omnibus), and runs about 60,000 words. It is the equivalent of the first book in a trilogy of novels.

My Review
5 of 5 Fevered Souls
Fevered Souls is a Serial Series that is kick ash! I mean I love Paranormal reads but this serial really did it for me.
In this series combined into a volume we get to meet Cara who lives in Eden and hates her life there. It is a small podunk town and she wants to escape to college and start a new life. Once she graduates high school she moves away to go to college just like her dreams. So she spends four years away from Eden vowing never to go back. But after graduating college she is unable to find a job so she has no choice but to go back to the town she hates and try and get a job. What is worse is she will have to face all those people she has ignored all this time but she is willing to do it.
Then she comes to town and she meets the dark and alluring Dax owner of his own company and man the insta attraction is there but Cara knows there is something off so she tries to keep her distance. This is easier said than done because Dax wants Cara and he is determined to have her. Only thing is Dax has a huge secret and when that secret gets out to Cara she will have to decide on whether or not she will be with him.
This is a serial series and it is amazing. With every episode the story got better and better and I was reading it kept me wanting to read more. If you love demons and and drama then this is the series for you.

AUTHOR BIO:
A huge fan of spooky stuff and shoes, I enjoy alternately hitting up the outlet malls and historic graveyards in Charleston, SC where I live and imbibe coffee. My husband and two small children seem not to mind when I hastily scribble novel lines on stray limbs in the absence of notepads.
Since no writer’s biography is complete without mention of her menagerie of animals, you should know I have one dog that doubles as a footstool, a second that functions as a vacuum cleaner, and a cat that ensures I never forget that my hands are, first and foremost, for pouring cat food.
