THIS BOOK IS SO EFFING INCREDIBLE! I mean INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I just could not get enough of this book. Lord I first want to thank Krista and Becca for writing about two issues that are very prevalent in young adult girls and guys lives. I mean no one talks about girls being addicted to sex. If a girl has an addiction to sex she is known as a whore or a slut but when a guy has an addiction to sex he is considered a champ and that right there is not fair nor is it true. Whether you are a guy or a girl if you are addicted to sex you need help period. It is not healthy for you mentally or physically because you can scratch an itch but it always comes back. The other issue they deal with is alcoholism. In college so many teens drink themselves into oblivion that they do and say things they don't remember and can hurt themselves.
Lily and Loren have been best friends forever. They do everything together and they even keep each others secrets. See one of them is addicted to alcohol and the other is addicted to sex. Oh and yes they have been lying and keeping their secret from their families by pretending to be a couple. They have been in a relationship for three years. Only it is not real because one of them does hook ups and sleeps around and watches porn just to fall asleep and the other drinks themselves into oblivion. They get so drunk they have to be carried home and watched just so they won't get hurt. The two of them are each other's crutch. They love each other and hide each other's addictions from others.
But what happens when you go on a boating trip with the family and there is no one to sleep with or not enough alcohol to numb the pain? Lily and Loren go on a boating trip and on that trip it changes things between them. They will discover that there is more to their addictions and their love that they have noticed. Will they fall in love? Will they ruin each other? This is a must read book for everyone! I love how the book follows through their addictions and what happens in the after math of the addictions being uncovered.
While I was reading this book like I often do I listened to this one song on repeat and it fits one of the characters to a "T" I won't say which one well except that it is the one who has a sex addiction but listen to this song while reading this book and then come back and comment and let me know what you think.
