Book Description:

A man who will never forget her

A woman who can’t trust him

Both are on the run

2 Lives. 2 Destinies.

One Promise

Review:

Okay where to start with this review......

I have been following Jett and Brooke's story right from the beginning and I have loved every moment of it. There has been so much drama, stress, fighting, arguing, lies, betrayals and the list can go on and on. Every time I start to read I can not put the book down and I am always left needing more and more from Brooke and Jett.

The Lover's Promise is an amazing read. I got some answers I wanted but I also got so much more because Jett is a jerk and more but he loves Brooke and is willing to do anything for her. Brooke was being a little stubborn but she had her reasons. She has been hurt real bad by Jett and does not trust him so she is trying to protect her heart.

When I got to the end of the book I wanted to scream and call J.C. up and asked her when the next one is coming out because this can't in no way be the ending for these two. Then I read on and it says The Lover's Proposal coming Spring 2015!

Around The World ARC Tours Presents Lies I Told by Michelle Zink Early Review

About The Book:

What if, after spending a lifetime deceiving everyone around you, you discovered the biggest lies were the ones you've told yourself?

Grace Fontaine has everything: beauty, money, confidence, and the perfect family.

But it’s all a lie.

Grace has been adopted into a family of thieves who con affluent people out of money, jewelry, art, and anything else of value. Grace has never had any difficulty pulling off a job, but when things start to go wrong on the Fontaines' biggest heist yet, Grace finds herself breaking more and more of the rules designed to keep her from getting caught...including the most important one of all: never fall for your mark.

Perfect for fans of Ally Carter, Cecily von Ziegesar, and Gail Carriger, this thrilling, high-stakes novel deftly explores the roles of identity and loyalty while offering a window into the world of the rich and fabulous.

Goodreads:

My Review:

First I would like to say Michelle what have you done to me.....

It took me two days to do this review because I could not wrap my mind around Grace, Logan, and Parker. I had to put the book down a few times because I found myself rushing to read through the book. I wanted to find out what happened. I have never read a book so full of suspense and drama that I needed to re-read some of the pages. When I got to the end of the book I was screaming because I could not believe that that was the end of the story. Michelle please tell me there is more another book or two?

Grace and her family are not a normal family. See the parents are con artists and live mark to mark. Grace and her adopted brother Parker help the family out by conning people right along side the parents. There next mark is a rich eccentric man who is very loaded and they want his money and gold. The only problem is that Grace starts to break one of the golden rules by falling for the Mark's son Logan.

You start to see the story unfold and start wondering what is going to happen to her and her brother Parker and Logan. I loved Logan from the start because he was smart, charming, and witty. As you read on you know that something bad is going to happen but you don't know what it is or who it is and when you finish the book you are like Wth! So when this book comes out in April you have to read it!

Around The World ARC Tours Presents Unleashed (Uninvited #2) by Sophie Jordan

About The Book:

Unleashed, the romantic, high-stakes sequel to New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan's Uninvited, is perfect for fans of James Patterson's Confessions of a Murder Suspect.

Davy has spent the last few months trying to come to terms with the fact that she tested positive for the kill gene HTS (also known as Homicidal Tendency Syndrome). She swore she would not let it change her, and that her DNA did not define her . . . but then she killed a man.

Now on the run, Davy must decide whether she'll be ruled by the kill gene or if she'll follow her heart and fight for her right to live free. But with her own potential for violence lying right beneath the surface, Davy doesn't even know if she can trust herself.

Goodreads:

Review:

Okay first I have to say this is the second best book I have read in a week. I mean I stayed up all night reading it because I was at the edge of my bed screaming at the characters and saying oh no don't go there. I could not get my mind wrapped around what was happening. I mean the gang starts out in one direction and ends up in another direction. I was like what the heck how did that happen? What is going to happen but then the story started to unfold and man oh man I was like holy cow Davy is really doing this without Sean.

Instead of Davy ending up in Mexico she ends up being saved by a stranger Caden who cares for her and helps her get better. As things unfold Davy knows Caden has secrets but his group has some very good points and Davy has figured out that she has been found by The Resistance. She knows not to trust anyone but Caden is starting to wear her down. She is trying to stick to the plan and get to Mexico to be with Sean and the others.

What will happen to Davy and the others? Will The Resistance win or will they make it worse? Will Davy trust Caden or will she go back to Sean and the gang and finish what she has started?

Around The World ARC Tours Presents The Return (Titan #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

About The Book:

The Fates are cackling their bony asses off…

It’s been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they’ve given him have been violent and bloody–which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He’s got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy’s deal might be, but it’s a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.

But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.

Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.

Book 1 in the new adult paranormal TITAN series, spin-off to the best selling COVENANT series.

Goodreads:

Review:

Holy Holy Hades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seth's book was incredible! I mean I could not put it down and yes Jen you caused me another sleepless night!

It has been a year since the Sentinel and Seth made his decision. Seth is now done doing work for Hades and he is working for Apollo and Apollo has one goal for Seth and one goal only. The goal is quite simple protect the girl and let nothing happen to her. So why is his job so dam hard? Why is it every time he is near this girl he thinks about Alex? Lord Seth is going through hell but his mission is to to protect the girl and that is what he shall do.

Reading this book had me on pins and needles because every time Seth would do something he would get in his protective mode that it made it hard for him to show his true feelings for Josie. Then you have Josie who has no idea whether or not she is going crazy or not but she knows something is happening to her and she has this hunk Seth protecting her.

Jen you have done it again and I need book two like ASAP! Great book I will buy for my favorite book shelf.

Around The World ARC Tours Presents Everything That Makes You by Moriah McStay

About The Book:

One girl. Two stories. Meet Fiona Doyle. The thick ridges of scar tissue on her face are from an accident twelve years ago. Fiona has notebooks full of songs she’s written about her frustrations, her dreams, and about her massive crush on beautiful uber-jock Trent McKinnon. If she can’t even find the courage to look Trent straight in his beautiful blue eyes, she sure isn’t brave enough to play or sing any of her songs in public. But something’s changing in Fiona. She can’t be defined by her scars anymore.

And what if there hadn’t been an accident? Meet Fi Doyle. Fi is the top-rated female high school lacrosse player in the state, heading straight to Northwestern on a full ride. She’s got more important things to deal with than her best friend Trent McKinnon, who’s been different ever since the kiss. When her luck goes south, even lacrosse can’t define her anymore. When you’ve always been the best at something, one dumb move can screw everything up. Can Fi fight back?

Hasn’t everyone wondered what if? In this daring debut novel, Moriah McStay gives us the rare opportunity to see what might have happened if things were different. Maybe luck determines our paths. But maybe it’s who we are that determines our luck.

Goodreads:

Review:

Okay first I have to give Moriah a hug KUDOS for the cover. I loved it and it fits the story perfectly.

This review is going to be so hard for me to write without spoilers because I loved how everything flowed so smooth together and you get two stories for the price of one. This is a story that had me crying and laughing because it is about the what if's for one girl and I felt for her because Lord knows I have had days like that where I say what if I did this differently.

Fiona is our main character. She was scarred on her face as a child and she is tired of everyone always having pity for her and wanting to help her. She is scarred not crippled but people just flock to her so she starts to write down her thoughts of what if and this is where we get Fi who is perfect and scare free. She is care free and plays Lacrosse and goes to a great college but even Fi has something happen to her and she must deal with that.

Would she rather be Fi or Fiona? What happens when the rubber burns the road? Who will Fiona choose reality or make believe. Sometimes it is easier to have a made up life than face the pain and hurt. This is a must read! You have to see what happens to Fiona and Fi.

About The Author:

I grew up in Memphis, TN, so I love music and friend pickles in the deepest part of my soul. My hair has been every style and color imaginable (except for pink, though I still may try that one.)

I went to college in Chicago. My freshman year, I had to get written permission from all my professors to take final exams early, as I was needed home to be a Princess in the Cotton Carnival. There were about thirty of us princesses, and we all wore the same pink, floor-length, pleated taffeta gown. At all the parties, we looked like a school of giant, land-based shrimp.

I had picked Northwestern for its Creative Writing program. I’m still unclear where I veered off-course, and how I ended up with a BA in economics. It took me two graduate degrees and seven jobs before I came back around to writing. After a few years of churning out some downright awful novels, I finally got the hang of it. Now that I write full-time, the noisy characters in my head are much easier to control.

I love Mr. Darcy, guacamole, Hob Nobs, indie music, consignment stores, Harry Potter, and love stories. I’m really not a fan of shopping, heights or spicy food. I suck at reading directions; however, I’m an excellent parallel parker. Like, excellent.

I live in Memphis with my husband and three daughters. To date, none have expressed interest in being a Princess in Cotton Carnival, though one has had blue hair.
