But how will they keep hope alive, even as time runs out?
5 OF 5 WILLIAM MADDOX
Jennifer has done it again! Lord this series just keeps getting better and better. I had the opportunity to read this ARC and let me tell you I was at the edge of my seat the entire time. The characters are just so well developed and the story follows so smoothly that at first I was like WOW some of the characters are finally going to get their Happily Ever After and be able to enjoy what they have and then BAM something happens and I am taken on a journey like no other. I will not go deeply into the book but i will give you a quick recap for all of those who have been following the series know I love Lilly and William. They are the best couple of 2012!
Lilly finally has finally become a Sentient and she is learning everyday what she can do and what she can't. She is an empath and a path crosser so she has some strong powers and she uses them to fight the evil that lurks around. She is enjoying her time with William the love of her life. They share everything together until tragedy strikes and the close community they live in will have to fight to get back what was taken from them. Lilly will stop at nothing to get her William back from the lore infested Europe and away from the ancient vampires that are set on taking William and having him join them on the dark side.
What will Lilly and her gang of love ones do? Will William join the ancient vampires? How strong is their love? Can is stand this temptation? What is a girl to do? Come along and read this GREATEST installment in this series because it will leave you breathless!
I would love to know if she had a play list while writing Circle of Light and what song inspired her main character or characters.
Oh boy, did I ever have a playlist! I think I started the playlist before I started the book , to be honest, because I already had an idea of the events, so I knew the mood I needed/wanted. Keep in mind that I’m a lifelong musician, so using it as either an inspiring agent or a device to keep hold of an emotion is hugely impacting when I write. The following songs (see full playlist link below) really fit the bill dramatically for me, but my faves were: Resistance by Muse, Away from the Sun by 3 Doors Down, Together Again by Evanescence and last but best, considering the content of the books and the vantage point about multiple lives and soul mates…1,000 years by Christina Perri.
Hope you enjoy the playlist and that it gives you a good idea of the feel of the series. Good luck with the contest, guys!
