Three Stages of Love: Lust (#1) by T.C. Anthony Blog Tour Stop

Evangeline Chase is standing at the edge of a crossroad. After choosing to be blissfully ignorant for far too long and willfully ignoring what her life has been lacking, fate is about to intervene. When Alexander Mason, a striking and powerful venture capitalist, is introduced as her new boss, Eva is overwhelmed by an intoxicating cocktail of hormones and lust that leaves her struggling to maintain her composure and more importantly, control of her life.

With an undeniable urge to dominate her new boss, her own lust-filled fantasies lead to a transformation that shakes her to her core. But when Alexander challenges Eva to satisfy her carnal urges, she is forced to choose between her career, her desires, and an unconventional and lustful relationship. Consumed by fear and forced to maintain control at all costs, Eva must decide if having it all is worth risking her career, her world, and possibly, love.

Three Stages of Love: Lust is the first book in a suspenseful new erotic romance series that explores the questions that young women have while embarking on their journey through life and love. Eva’s transformation from prim and proper to fun and dominating proves to be one of the most erotically intriguing personal makeovers around. Her passion for her career and life goals ultimately gives way to uninhibited encounters that leave her intoxicated and yearning for more. Eva’s emotional battle between her heart and mind leave her juggling with a desire to have it all and a profound fear of losing everything.

Written to illustrate the average, driven woman’s point of view, Three Stages of Love: Lust tackles the everyday fears and desires that young women have in an intoxicatingly erotic way. A gripping, palpitation-inducing romance full of underlying themes that are extraordinarily relevant to modern women, this enthralling erotic novel by T. C. Anthony is a must-read for women of all backgrounds.

My Review

5 of 5 Three Stages Of Love: Lust

TOTALLY HEART WRENCHING AND AMAZING WRAPPED ALL IN ONE!

Okay where to start this review..... Man I am so pissed off at the Evangeline she has some serious issues! Shit and excuse my language but dam I am just so annoyed at her for not trusting and letting go of the best thing that has ever happened to her. It says something when it takes me three days to read a book. It never takes me three days to read a book. I had to put it down because the raw emotions I felt while reading it tore at my heart and gut. I literally had a migraine from crying.

If you have ever been in love then you know how scary it is and how so many emotions show up at once it can be overwhelming. Three Stages Of Love: Lust being the first book takes you on a journey like no other.Eva is this strong independent woman who knows what she wants and how she wants it. She knows she will do whatever it takes to make it in the business she is in and she wants to go all the way to the top. She does not need a family or man nor does she want one that is until the night of her birthday party where she lands in the lap of a gorgeous guy who takes her home and nothing more. She dreams of this guy and what he can do for her but she has no idea who he is. That is until she meets him Monday night and realizes that he is going to be her new boss.

Alexander is everything a woman could want and need. Dam he is everything I would love to have. He is smart, funny, and passionate but he will soon find out that to have Eva he is going to have to work his butt off. He is going to have to chip away at all the ice she has built around her heart. He wants to give her everything and anything and in exchange he will ask for nothing but what she wants to give.

But in the end can Eva give up her control? Will she be able to love this man who loves her? I have to say that this book took me through so many emotions that I yelled at the book, I cried and in the end I was pissed off at Eva because she is so head strong. It is okay to be head strong but you have got to sometimes let things happen and I need book two like ASAP because I have to read more about Eva and Alexander. I also want to see what happens with Marcus and Samantha.

Alexander Scene:
Alexander threw the vibrator to the side and as I continued to orgasm, he plunged into my throbbing sex, continuing the orgasm and increasing the thrashing of my body.

"Fuck Evangeline, you are so wet, I love you like this, and I never want you dry when you are with me, never. Take the blindfold off, I want to see you, I need you to see the ecstasy I feel as I fill you with all I have."

I removed the blindfolds and my eyes stared into his, never needing to focus or find them, they were drawn to him like a magnet. He was a force so strong and unexplainable that nothing could tear us apart from this moment.

"You are beautiful Alexander, you are amazing," I let out in spurted cries as he swayed his hips in and out of me. He leaned closer; driving deeper and his chest lay almost completely against mine. I could not remove my stare from his face, the vision and moments before me were miraculous to me. Never did I imagine or think that this feeling of elation, that these blind moments of perfection were ever possible or could ever be given to me by another; someone was giving me a gift; some angel was allowing me to have this moment.

"Alexander," my emotions were overflowing, my heart pounded and my eyes swelled with tears, "I..." I couldn't possibly say what my heart was thinking; there would be no turning back, "I love..." What am I doing!

"I love the way you feel inside me" I finally let out, speaking the truth but avoiding the one thing I wanted to scream out to him.

I Love You!

What inspired you to write this series?

I would have to say that the strongest inspiration for writing the particular series was the unbelievable number of young women around me that fit some charachteristic of Eva. The one thing that they all share is the fear and the overwhelming uncertainty of being able to do it all. These are the same women who consistently ask me…How do you do it? To me, working full time and being a wife, mother, an author, a baker, and a shoe fanatic…just fits its self into the days schedule. I never planned my life or scheduled things to happen—they just did. But the pressure that rests on today's generation of young women is different from what I remember. Women, in my opinion have now been given so many choices and equalities that they are now being held to higher standards because they are allowed to do it all. It's kind of like a double edged sword. We fear doing too much or doing too much at once because when a woman tries and fails…it isn't easily forgotten. I wanted to put all those fears and all those reservations in to the light and into the open eyes of women to say hey, you can be strong and weak, you can be a housewife and an executive, and you can be a goddess in bed and a professional (not that kind) in the board room. Remember that at the end of life, you'll only regret the risks you don't take!

Do you believe in soul mates and true love?

Absolutley! I believe that there is one perfect person for each and everyone of us. But where when and how we meet them—whether or not we choose to acknoweldge them is of our own doing. We make our life's choices. Let's say you fall for a man/woman who isn't of the 'right' social class or up bringing. If you choose to ignore that man/woman for what ever reason and try to find 'love' else where; it is of your own doing if you aren't forever contented by the 'love' that you do find. If a warning sign on the road reads Turn Right and instead—you turn left. You can only blame yourself for the wrong turn you made when you find your self lost and in the dark.

Evangeline is a strong female character, is she inspired by someone in your life?

Evangeline is a mixture of many women in my life. Some of her comes from deep within me and other parts of her personality and 'strength' comes from the women who sit around my fire pit and have wine with me.

Alexander is a great male lead character. He has his hard side and he has his soft and playful side. What does he see in Evangeline? Does he really love her or does he lust after her?

Alexander is the uncommon man. He is soft and gentle when he needs to be or rough and overly masculine when he needs to be. These men—like Alexander—do exist! Men who date or marry business women (I speak from experience) must be able to shape and shift their personalities. They must be intelligent enough to discuss the days grueling events and they must also be loving and passive enough to pick up the slack with the kids and around the house. These men need to be understanding and strong willed. See the trick to understand is that business women make decisions all day every day so when they come home or follow their man to the bedroom, they don't mind some one else taking the reigns.

Alexander falls in love with Eva and lusts after her—simply for her uncharachteristically flawed nature. Just as we women tend to fall for the bad boy, Alexander fell for the bad girl. She is confident yet afraid. She is intelligent but still wants to learn. She is hard on the exterior but all loving once you get passed that. Alexander yearns to get past tthe hard exterior and go straight for her heart (making a pit stop somewhere down below).

Will we see more of Alexander’s background in the coming books?

A little bit. I don't go more into detail about Alexander's background purposely…he doesn't really have one. I didn't want Alexander to be or become just another damaged or flawed male charachter who likes kinky sex. I wanted him to feel and behave and have the history like the men I know and connect with. I wanted him to be real.

What is happening between Marcus and Samantha? Will we see more of them in the coming books?

All I can say without saying too much is that Marcus and Samantha's relationship continues to prove to Eva that she is missing out on something wonderful! You will definitley see more of them in Book 2.

What did Marcus mean when he told Evangeline that Alexander will forgive her?

Marcus grew up with Alexander in the orphanage so he experience the growth of the man he knows before him. When Alexander lost his parents, he would have given anything to regain the love he shared with them. Eva is the only true love he's had since then. So Marcus is confident that Alexander—after having lost love once—will do anything to never lose it again!

Why did Alexander leave New York?

If you've ever been in love you can recall the feeling at the pit of your stomach when you and your love had an argument. You can't eat, sleep or think of anything else but that person and how they make you feel. When you lose that love that fills you completley, it is excruciating to live day in and day out with the angst and pain of never again having that love in your life. Some people move on. Others have to get away.

When is book two coming out?

Writing for me is; a complete physical and emotional surrender to the written word. I have been writing for 15 years, starting at a young age with poetry, moving into short stories and now the Three Stages of Love Trilogy. As a young wife and mother of two, I am also successful in business; a trifecta that has required much reinvention of the woman within me. The 'keeping it together' throughout the evolution is what so many women fear and want to know about. My writing is guided not by the desire to sell a book, but with a passion to venture into a life long fulfilling career and piece of mind as an author in a variety of genres.

am simply a woman who believes that the only risks one regrets in life are the risks that one does not take. My new erotic romance novels explore the boundaries in which women toy with in order to have it all.
